About Michael

MICHAEL J. MOORE began writing after years of working in music and movie distribution. The change in direction began as he did background work on the Netflix series House Of Cards while working as Co-Producer and Music Supervisor for the film Day Of The Gun featuring Eric Roberts.

He then made his first on-screen speaking appearance as Reverend Robert Lowe in the western feature film Bill Tilghman and The Outlaws. That appearance led him to reprise the role in three short inspirational films he wrote, which further explored Lowe’s story.

At his wife’s suggestion, he turned those scripts into his first book, The Tales Of Robert Lowe, which was followed by a prequel, Robert Lowe: An Origin Story. After writing his first feature-length film script, he quickly decided to turn it into his first full-length novel, A Cowboy Christmas. He is now planning to write a series of novels inspired by his mother’s love of romantic holiday films while also working on a mystery short-story anthology set in the music business.

When asked why his writing is so varied, he responded, “I love all different genres of music so I figure, why limit myself to one genre of writing? There’s too much to enjoy out there!”
